6 day Tanzania Safari
Below is an actual itinerary for one of the LuxeSafari tours with safari places visited
DAY 0
Pickup from Kilimanjaro International Airport (flight and time withheld)
Drop-off to Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha, two double rooms booked, dinner reservations confirmed
DAY 1
Pickup at from Hotel at 7.45am and drive to Tarangire National Park. Arrive at Tarangire Park gate circa 10.30am
Game drive and picnic lunch in the park. Drive to lodge arriving circa 6.00pm
Dinner and overnight @ Tarangire Sopa Lodge (Full Board)
Discuss plan for day 2 with driver – departure time, picnic lunch or return to lodge for hot lunch, any special sightseeing wishes
DAY 2
Breakfast at the lodge.
Depart (circa 8am) with picnic lunch for full day game drive. Dinner and overnight @ Tarangire Sopa Lodge (Full Board). Discuss plan for day 3 with driver – departure time, including timing for Lake Manyara game drive
DAY 3
Breakfast at the lodge. Depart with picnic lunch, onward to a game drive in Lake Manyara National park. After a picnic lunch, depart for Serengeti National Park viewing thw wildlife and Serengeti Plains along the way. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board)
In the evening, there will be a briefing by the Balloon Safari team about the schedule for the next day. It is important for all group members to attend the meeting. It will include, timings, recommendations on clothing, champagne breakfast arangements, etc.
DAY 4
Early morning, depart for Balloon Safari in Serengeti. The Balloon Safari includes a hot cooked breakfast with Champagne where the Balloon lands. Departure from the lodge will be very early as the best time to see the animals is early morning and the Balloons depart around sunrise.
Driver will depart from Lodge together with lunch boxes and at the end of the Balloon Safari, will meet you to continue on a game drive and picnic lunch
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board)
Discuss departure time plans for day 5 with driver
DAY 5
Breakfast at the lodge. Depart lodge with lunch box
Enroute to Ngorongoro conservation Area, game drive and picnic lunch on the way. Stop at the Masai Vilage for a 45 minute tour
Dinner and overnight @ Ngorongoro Serena Lodge ( Full Board)
Discuss timings for Day 6 with driver
DAY 6
Breakfast at the lodge
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch and descend into the Ngorongoro crater for crater tour / game drive. Optional, return to lodge for hot lunch. Will need to decide the night before. Please let the driver know.
Later ascend the crater and drive to back to your lodge
Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (Full Board)
DAY 7
After breakfast drive back to Arusha and onward to Arusha domestic airport for the afternoon flight to Zanzibar (see separate programme). En route, stop at Arusha Cultural and Heritage Centre and any other shopping as per client wishes, keeping account of the time to reach ARK.

Balloon Safari
Early morning departure for BALLOON SAFARI in Serengeti. The balloons normally take off at sunrise. The flight last about an hour with Champagne and hot breakfast served where-ever the balloons land (depends on wind direction)
